The VegTrug Classic is ideal for small spaces, and can be positioned anywhere you like to grow a variety of plants. The VegTrug Wall Hugger Planter is designed to be placed in smaller and narrower spaces against a wall or fence for vertical growing.
How Much Soil Can the VegTrug Raised Planter Hold?
The VegTrug Wall Hugger Planter can hold 170 litres of compost, allowing you to grow a good amount of crops within a restricted space. The raised 'V' shape design of the VegTrug allows for shallow and deep growth so that you can grow the most out of it.
Designed for Smaller and Narrower Spaces

What Can Be Grown on this Raised Planter?
You can grow plants, flowers, or whatever you like to eat! With the VegTrug Wall Hugger Planter you're free to grow all sorts of fruit and vegetables. We do however recommend growing dwarf varieties (smaller plants) to allow you to make the most of the space in this planter.

The unique shape 'V' shape of the VegTrug also means you are able to plant a variation of plants too! Thanks to the unique design of this planter, you can grow deep rooted produce in the middle, and shallow rooted produce towards the front and back.

A water-based food-safe preservative has been added onto the VegTrug to ensure your crops are healthy and ready for cooking, or eating. It is then recommended treating all VegTrug Wooden Planters annually from the date of purchase.

With a standing height of 80cm, the VegTrug Planter offers the ideal working height without bending, and compromising your posture. The height is also perfect for wheelchair users, meaning everyone can grow their own produce.
Pre-Formed Liner Included
A pre-formed liner is also included with your VegTrug, which will keep your soil healthy and well aerated for optimum growing conditions. The liner is self-draining and bio-degradable, making it environmentally friendly.
